Seaplane connectivity between Kochi and Lakshadweep now runs on a published timetable from 18 September to 14 October 2026, operating daily except Tuesdays. One daily circuit links Kochi with Kalpeni, Kavaratti, Kadmat and Agatti. This followed trial operations in 2026 that also involved Kiltan.

Unlike conventional flights to Agatti or passenger ship journeys, seaplanes land on water near island shores — a faster alternative, though sectors still depend on weather and should be reconfirmed 24–48 hours before travel.
